☀️Welcome to the Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop!☀️
This is a place to share some love and spread some sunshine!
Thanks for coming again! It’s been fun to see this little blog hop begin to take off.
On a personal note, my husband and I just celebrated 21 years of marriage together yesterday (Friday). Here’s a little bit about some things we’ve been learning. 💘 21 Years! 💘 and True Love on the Homestead
It was nice to get out and enjoy a little bit of time together. We did some simple things to make the day special, and one of these weekends we want to get away to celebrate a little more! We are considering Helen, GA and the Dahlonega area for a change of pace, yet still outdoors. We aren’t fancy folks!
Here are a couple clues as to what we treated each other with.
I’ll be sharing the recipe soon on how to make those.
*I have not abandoned the Praying for our Young Men series. I’ll be sharing those interspersed with other posts. It will go beyond this month, but this wet I will have better time to devote to the list. You can see the first three posts in that series Day 1, Day 2, Day 3.
Here are this week’s featured posts!
Root Cellar—I never want to be without one!
Pine Rose Market Handcrafted Items for Sale
If you were featured, I’ll be sharing your posts, and you’re welcome to paste this image into your blog post or sidebar.
Thank you to everyone who came to participate. ♥️
The focus of this blog hop will be: anything related to making our homes more sunny and happy! If that’s through homemade cooking, a health tip that will help another, homesteading tips, homeschool successes or real-life struggles, or just whatever God is impressing you with in your home journey, please share it!
Have a great week, and feel free to share the hop with others!
Helen, GA is lovely!
Happy anniversary, we too are simple and keep things low key! Thanks for sharing my daughter’s handcrafted items. <3
Oh, you’re so welcome!
Loved your anniversary post, congratulations to you both! Thank you for featuring my Root Cellar, I appreciate it!
We want to make one too. Such an important part of a homestead.

Love the things you & hubby did for your wedding anniversary!
Hubby & I are similar we aren’t fancy folk & often go for a picnic together by the seaside or into the mountains to celebrate our wedding anniversary. ☺️

Every milestone is a reminder of God’s goodness as He helps us to work through the ups and downs of married life.
Helen, GA is a great place, especially the surrounding trails. Absolutely scenic!
I hope we can get there…
Congrats once more on your anniversary – (Can never say those words enough!) We celebrate our 24th on Valentine’s Day. I shared a little of our story on Post 27. By the way, your cats are gorgeous! 🙂
Thanks to both! We are blessed, and the cats are a bit spoiled.
My husband and I enjoy doing simple things together, as well. Yesterday was one of those unplanned and delightful days when our busy schedules were suddenly empty. We had lunch and stopped at a couple of random shops that we enjoy.
Thanks for this! Just another confirmation that the little things are so sweet.
