First Sunflowers

Out in the garden, I’ve got volunteers–some are six feet tall!

I’ve been planning to get outside and plant some of the sunflower seeds I saved from last year, but so far that hasn’t happened. That’s why I’m even more delighted to find volunteers! These come from my big sunflower patch of all colors!

Today I do plan to do some gardening! It’ll be cool to have a succession of blooms!

I’m planning to get some cucumbers in the ground, some pole beans, and hopefully some squash. Also, Greg bought me some little plants–eggplant, flowers and cantaloupe, so those are definitely going into our raised beds!

Boys are working a lot on the house! Andrew is figuring out a plan for our front porch/sunroom. It’s geometry applied when you have to actually build something with your knowledge.

Always with us, little by little!

Enjoy the blog hop!
