It’s Father’s Day!
What more reason is there to pause and say thanks?
I had a great dad.
The best, really.
I know he was not perfect. His charm was that he knew that and never once tried to pretend.
I miss Dad every day.
He had some challenges in his life, but he did not let them steal his joy. That is a lesson I need to learn.
Through the years, we had many things happen. I so appreciate my dad’s good outlook and humor. I miss his music and the way our three boys, now mostly grown up, adored him.
It’s a good thing to remember.
Wish he were still here. Someday soon, we’ll have a reunion.
This is Dad.
The father to our boys, my husband, is another gold gem. 💎 🏆 ✨
He spent his Father’s Day working for others today. That’s what makes him happy.
We are truly blessed and try not to take him for granted, but I know we could appreciate him more.
Hug a dad today, and do something fun!
Happy Father’s Day!

Features for this week!
Hi, Laurie. Thank you for hosting this wonderful party. I have added #2. I mentioned Father’s Day cards in my linked post. This year I could not find the ‘right’ card to give my dad. I found the perfect card in the birthday section!
I invite you and your readers to share at Gma’sPhoto link up parties.

Hi Laurie! I love your reminder to “Hug a Dad”! What a blessing a good father is! I was blessed to have one of the best – a man who cherished faith and family – and I miss him every day, just as you miss yours! I’m also blessed to be married to a wonderful man who has provided for and loved our family! I thank God for the gift of these special men! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
