Welcome to the Homestead Blog Hop!
Morning, Partners! 🤠
What a beautiful Autumn day we gave greeting us! Is it the same where you’re waking up?
Okra
I think our garden has slowed down now. Not sure about that okra. It keeps surprising me with more, but never huge quantities.
I’ve been fixing it breaded with corn meal and baked in the oven. I love it, but it turns out my family is not a fan. From now on, I’ll just stick to stewing it, since that is what Greg likes.
75 Hard
Still going strong with the 75 Hard Challenge, although today I slept later instead of rising at the crack of dawn to work out.
If you’re curious about that, The 75 Hard Challenge. My First Four Days will explain more.
Also, on YouTube, I explained more in depth. Watch that here

Today at Ridge Haven Homestead
Today…laundry issues are the hot mess of the day. Finally breaking down and investing in a new washing machine. It’s sad, but the time has come to retire our old one.
I’ll be happy just to catch up on Mt Washmore!
Have a wonderful day, and be thankful that I didn’t share a picture of our laundry room!

Homestead Blog Hop will take place every Wednesday and is for all things homesteading: real food recipes, farm animals, crafts, DIY, how-to’s, gardening, anything from-scratch, natural home/health, self-sufficiency, self-reliance, natural remedies, essential oils, & more! Basically anything related to homesteading.
