Welcome to the Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop #2!
~A place to spread a little sunshine to get your week started right!~
Welcome!!
This is the second edition of the Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop!
Thank you for visiting again this week!
I will say that I was pleased with our first blog hop! I had no idea if anyone would come, as it was mostly word of mouth advertising, so to speak. And that’s how it will remain. I believe the idea of spreading sunshine will grow!
We have some great features, because we had a lot of wonderful posts shared, so thank you for that!
This is a brand new blog hop, so spread the word!
I thought it would be fun to open up a new blog hop starting every week on Sundays! There aren’t many Sunday blog hops, so you can let this one be a fun place to meet and greet, share and find inspiration!
The focus of this blog hop will be: anything related to making our homes more sunny and happy! If that’s through homemade cooking, a health tip that will help another, homesteading tips, homeschool successes or real-life struggles, or just whatever God is impressing you with in your home journey, please share it!
We want to encourage families and make strong homes. We can do this through focusing on what’s important and trusting God to lead us.
Share, share, share!
Thank you so much for visiting! It will take a few weeks to get the work out, so please do your part to share it so others can come too!
A few requirements:
- Visit for visit! Please visit another link for each post you link.
- Family-friendly content only
- No sales
- Feel free to list your own blog hop here.
- Link back to this blog if you want to post/be featured.
- Share individual post url, not the whole blog url.
- Follow hostess to show appreciation ❤️
- Leave comments when you visit other blogs to help boost their blogs
Have fun!
If you get featured, please post the image at your blog!
And now for the features from last week’s Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop!
36 Sunflower Varieties, and Counting! From God’s Growing Garden
Anyone who’s gotten to know me through my blog knows that I have a real fondness/weakness for sunflowers! 🌻 I am amazed that Angie has grown over 36 types of sunflowers—I think what amazes me the most is that she has documented each one and photographed each one to keep track! I aspire to that kind of organization! But mostly, I aspire to her kind of sunflower-growing! Her pictures are wonderful!
Our Home is our Nest from Sweetly Dreaming of the Past
This post hit home, no pun intended there! I appreciate the focus on our homes, which are the heart of the family! The home featured is so cozy!
Word of the Year 2022: Self Care for Moms from Homeschool on the Range
I recently read an article about self care, which pointed out that self care is not about bubble baths and chocolate cake. It’s about doing the hard things to take care of ourselves for the long haul, not instant gratification and selfish indulgence. Moms—we must look out for our own health, or everyone else will suffer downstream.
Note that when you linkup, the party is requiring a back link to this blog. I clicked that box and cannot change it for this week. So if you don’t mind somewhere in your blog including a link back to this blog url, that will be all you have to do to link up! You can use the image—paste it into your blog somewhere, or just in your posts like some people do.
****If you try to linkup and it won’t let you see it after wards, please leave me a comment and I will manually take a look. I was able to add those manually yesterday, so all of the posts have been added.****
I will be back to figure out how to link back! Have a great week!
Sorry about that.
I think I clicked something on the blog hop setup this time that I don’t usually click and I have no idea how to change it!
I had all good intentions of doing your blog hop but life got in the way. LOL. It’s all I can do is keep up with the UBC and I’ve been traveling for th past week so that adds to me losing my mind. LOL I’ll keep trying though!
Boy, I can relate! No matter! Come when you’re able to! It’ll be there!
Good Morning in the Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
I have absolutely NO idea how to create a blog, so that means I don’t have one.
However–I will keep checking in on yours.
Have a Blessed Day 🙂
Ugh! No problem there! How did you find me?
I said ugh since I don’t want to make things complicated. You don’t have trouble commenting, do you?
Good morning. Thank you for the invite. I believe I did the backlink properly. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and I am looking forward to seeing all of the blogs that get linked. It is so exciting to find new blogs to read and follow.
I do have a link back to your party in my I Link Up To list on my blog. Smiles, Linda at Paper Seedlings
Hmmm…it’s not something I can control.
It seems that the inlinkz code isn’t finding it.
Maybe just check that it’s https://www.ridgehavenhomestead.com and not just the name!
I’m sorry for the trouble. I will fix it next go-‘round! Sometimes I’m tech challenged.
Linda, I did manually add yours. Not sure why the inlinkz won’t recognize the back link.
But you’re good!
Unfortunately I could not comment on Homeschool on the Range’s Self-Care post. Here’s what I was going to say:
I like your concept of making Wednesday into “get stuff done and have fun in the process”.
As a part-time working Hockey Mom, my schedule is hard to tweak, but I pledge to ask for help and try and let go of perfectionism.
I’m sorry you had trouble commenting. That’s odd. But if I can let her know I will.
I do have a linkback but it didn’t seem to recognize it. It took me right to your site. It’s on my linkups page.
Ugh! I’m so sorry.
Make sure your link back is to https://www.ridgehavenhomestead.com make sure it’s not to a page or the blog hop page.
I’m gonna change it next time, but for now I can’t change this one. It’s aggravating.
Donna, I have been able to manually add your links! Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Dearest Laurie,
This morning I wasn’t at home, alas, I came back after lunch time, and I sat at my table and turned on my PC in the late afternoon.
When I had a look at the comments to publish, I read yours of the feature of my Blog Post from last week, and I immediately felt light – hearted, dearie, you truly made my eyes shiny with tears for the joy!
I’m sincerely honoured by this mention, I have no words which to thank you with!
Thanking you for hosting today too, as well,
I’m sending my dearest love to you
XO Daniela
You are the sweetest!
Thank you!
Thank you so much for featuring my sunflower post!! You made my week!
And thanks again for hosting this fun party.
Have a blessed week.
Angie
Thanks for sharing your party at Create With Joy! Look forward to linking with you in the future! Since you are with Inlinkz you should be able to go back in and edit the code to uncheck the backlink requirement. I’m sure people will be happy to share your party but listing the backlink as a requirement will scare interested people away. Have a great week – we all need a little sunshine in our lives! 🙂
