Welcome to the Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop!
Good morning, Friends, and welcome to the Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop!
Howdy from Upper East Tennessee! 🤠
I can’t say a true howdy like I’m from Texas, but with the heat we’ve been having, I sort of feel like it!
Besides the heat, we had a doozy of a rainstorm come through this week which caused quite a bit of flooding! It’s always something!
Gardens, Cats, Flowers
Besides the day to day regular stuff of life, those three things keep us busy. The garden keeps going, the cats tag along, and we love how the zinnias and sunflowers brighten up the property.
Here’s one recipe I’ve been making and have to replenish today. Quick and Easy Refrigerator Pickles —No Vinegar
I’m also eyeing the basil plants and noticing that pretty soon I’m going to dive into making some Perfectly Plant Based Pesto! Do you love pesto with fresh garden tomatoes? I do! I’ve been using pesto from last year, out of habit, but I have no excuse not to make some fresh pesto!
Today on the blog features, we accidentally have a theme.
Every feature focuses to some degree on something plant based. Whether we eat plant based all of the time or only try to sneak in more veggies, it’s a health improvement.
God made so many wonderful flavors and colors in the plants–if you don’t like one, there are thousands more to try!
Be sure to check out the fun recipes!
The Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop
This is a place to share some love and spread some sunshine!
The focus of this blog hop will be: anything related to making our homes more sunny and happy! If that’s through homemade cooking, a health tip that will help another, homesteading tips, homeschool successes or real-life struggles, or just whatever God is impressing you with in your home journey, please share it!
