Are we done with the rain now?

In our area, it would appear like we are getting a break. And across the country, they desperately need some wet weather to deal with fires. I wish we could just choose what we need, and grab it, weather-wise.

How is your garden doing?

Our garden is suddenly petering out. We had tons of cucumbers a couple of weeks ago, and now they’re drying up.  I did make a lot of pickles, though!  Quick and Easy Refrigerator Pickles —No Vinegar I used this recipe.   

We still have some tomatoes, but not enough to even can, which is strange for us. Maybe we needed the break this year to give us time to work on the house.

I’m almost ready to show you inside of our bathrooms! We are just about done with all of them. Let me tell you, it’s been a work of education for us!

This is the Tennessee state Wildflower! We have a tiny passion fruit growing on the same vine.
