Homestead Homemade Waffles. Plant Based/Vegan
Hearty and healthy, delicious waffle recipe.

- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 cups other flours oat, all purpose, etc
- 2 tbsp baking powder aluminum free
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oil canola, light olive, sunflower, etc
- 4 cups milk soy, almond, coconut, oat Start with this amount, add more as needed
- 1 - 2 cups rolled oats or quick oats
- 2 tbps flax seeds, ground, mixed in 1/4 warm water
Mix all dry ingredients into a large bowl
Stir in the wet ingredients, mix with a whisk or spoon until well combined.
Add more milk or water if too thick to easily pour.
Ladle into pre-heated waffle irons and cook according to manufacturer instructions.
Serve with your favorite toppings!
